Benxi water cave scenic area is mainly to show the natural geological karst cave landscape, where composed of Benxi water cave underground river, dry cave, China national geological museum Benxi branch, silicified wood park, stone forest park, Taizi river water entertainment center, Yujing mountain national ecology park, and other resort scenic spots, planning area of 10.6 square kilometers. Benxi water cave is a large water-filled karst cave, formed four or five hundred thousand years ago, the cave is divided into water, drought.
The total length of the Benxi water cave is 5,800 meters, and 2,800 meters have been developed. The water cave covers an area of 36,000 square meters, with more than 400,000 cubic meters of space. The most open part is 38 meters high and 70 meters wide. The air inside the cave is unobstructed and the water is inexhaustible all year round. The flow is 14,000 tons every day and night, with an average water depth of 2 meters and the deepest depth of 7 meters. The cave has a constant temperature of 12℃, which can be visited all year round.
